“I COME FROM A LONG LINE OF SUCCESSFUL WOMEN... CEOS, OFFICERS OF COMPANIES, ATTORNEYS... PEOPLE WHO ARE STEERING BIG SHIPS. AND EVERY ONE OF THOSE WOMEN IN MY LIFE AND IN MY FAMILY HAS SAID TO ME: DO NOT SACRIFICE YOUR HEALTH AND DO NOT SACRIFICE YOUR FAMILY FOR YOUR PROFESSIONAL CAREER BECAUSE YOU CAN ALWAYS ACHIEVE, BUT YOU CAN NEVER GET THE TIME BACK AND YOU CAN NEVER GET YOUR HEALTH BACK.”
— JOSEPHINE TYNES
